Jean McArthur - A Retrospective

10 February 2019 to 25 March 2019

Gallery 54 Collective in Penola is pleased to present a retrospective exhibition by Jean McArthur who is a member of the group.
The exhibition, "Leave No Stone Unturned", is a collection of works past and present that represents a journey through Jean’s life of creativity and travel.

An intrepid traveller, Jean grew up in rural South Australia. Her curiosity has led her to explore books, odd corners of the world and the natural environment. “I like people, food, weather, solitude and can be contrary”, Jean said. Most of her work is from life experience.
The exhibition opens on Sunday 10 February 2019 at 2pm and will be introduced by guest speaker Monica Hart. Everyone is welcome to join Jean and other members of the Collective, at 54 Church Street, for the event.

The exhibition concludes on the 25th of March 2019. Gallery hours are 10am to 4pm Thursday to Monday.

“We look forward to welcoming visitors to the gallery.

The gallery contains a dedicated changing exhibition space where members and visiting artists can display new and experimental work. If you are interested in exhibiting, contact Gallery 54 for more details on how to hire the exhibition room.
