Drawings of the human figure

31 March 2019 - 13 May 2019

Gallery 54 Collective in Penola is pleased to present an exhibition of unframed drawings portraying the human figure.

For hundreds of years artists have always been fascinated with drawing the human figure. This exhibition by a group of artists, who meet a few times a year to draw from a live model, are no exception. Using different mediums such as charcoal, pencil and pastel the artists have expressed the human figure in their own distinctive style.

The exhibition will be opened by guest speaker, Artist and Teacher, April Hague, on Sunday 31 March 2019 at 2.00pm. Everyone is welcome to come and meet the artists and view the exquisite drawings.

Exhibiting artists include, April Hague, Dagny Strand, Diana Wiseman, Ann Carpenter, Anne Miles, Stephanie Yoannidis, Ron Pollock, Jennie Matthews, Sally O'Connor, Kristie Williams, Jane van Eeten, Jenni Elmes, Peta Cassan and Angela Hann.
The exhibition concludes on 13 May 2019. Gallery hours are 10am to 4pm Thursday to Monday.
