Anne Miles grew up in Adelaide and studied at the South Australian School of Art during the early 1960’s.
After experimentation in many fields of art, she now concentrates on painting in oil and gouache, drawing and printmaking. Her works which are contemporary in style, are inspired by the landscape and momentary observations of life, incorporating a strong design element. Anne has exhibited her work widely since 1986. Over the years she has taught art, co-ordinated exhibitions, held workshops and been involved in public art projects, as well as being an active member of Gallery 54 in Penola and Thumbprint Workshop in Mount Gambier.
Anne’s works are held in public collections - Riddoch Art Gallery, Naracoorte Art Gallery, The City of Onkaparinga and the University of South Australia as well as private collections.
