Everything's Coming Up Roses
The song by Ethel Merman, "Everything's Coming Up roses", rejoices in spring, sunshine and roses after a period of hardship; the ideal title for Naomi Zanker's second exhibition exhibition at Gallery 54.
The exhibition are portraits of roses, studied by Naomi when she visited Penola in spring 2021.

Trudy exhibits in group shows held in Melbourne’s inner north, Riddoch Art Gallery and regional galleries on the Limestone Coast. She is a member of Thumb Print Workshop Inc. and working from the Chapel Studio in Suttontown Mount Gambier.
In the Summer of 2017 Trudy transitioned from inner city life style to a working farm in Moorak on the outskirts of Mount Gambier. This has been a major change in her life and has resulted in a shift in her creative work. At present her work is about exploring expansive but elusive quality of nature on the Limestone Coast, the lakes, caves, sink holes, aquifers and limestone. Hence this body of work is called Reflection on nature.
